Putin says sees EAEU cooperation advancement as successful

MOSCOW, May 25 (PRIME) -- Cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is advancing quite successfully, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council on Thursday.

"I would like to point out that cooperation in the framework of the EAEU is indeed advancing quite successfully," Putin said.

Russia values a close partnership with all member states of the union, which is founded on principles of mutual benefit and respect of interests, he added.

According to Putin, Armenia is the main benefactor of the union as it has the highest economy growth rate among the members. Prime Minister of the republic Nikol Pashinyan estimated the growth rate at 12.1%.
